We have just received information that the Megabowl has closed at the Metro Centre in Gateshead on the 23/4/08. With this closure it as also closed the doors to the Q2000 laser tag arena which was located within this complex.

After a break of  2 years of laser tag in Hull, we are about to see a New arena to open early February.

This will be in a new site as the original site was pulled down due redevelopment.

More details to follow as soon as we get them.

After a little set back we can now revel that Dark Ocean tag centre in Edinburgh is now open for business.

The centre opened on Saturday 15 December and is using Darklight equipment and we hope to bring you some photos of this centre very soon. All the pricing is on the Darklight section of the site.

Laser Arena would like to apologies to all laser tag operators that have asked us to update there prices / details. We unfortunately had a major crash of our email system and the computer that we use for keeping the site up to date.

We are sad to bring you the news of yet another arena that has closed.

This was confirmed on Sunday afternoon that the arena was to close it doors for the last time. This arena has fallen pray to yet another retail property development.

Thanks to Jaydrive to bring this to our attention and we do hope that you see another arena in that area soon.

It feels like the end of an era. We saw this arena born out of nothing and now we have to watch as it disappears. Another victim of redevelopment.

This arena started out in May 2001 and we ran our first news article about how it was built. It seems so sad to be reporting on the news that today, only 6 years later, it will close its door for the last time.

We will keep the memory of this arena alive and kicking though as we will be keeping the Arena In Progress section online as a guide for potential arena builders and operators.

We are told that the owners are currently keeping their options open as to whether they will rebuild elsewhere.

Good Luck to all the staff now and in the future.

 DARK OCEAN JUNIOR TRAINING SESSIONS 

Dark Ocean Edinburgh are beginning Junior Training.

Starting from Sunday 25th of May

Open to anyone under 16.

It is a 10 week course costing £5 per person from 10am - 11am every Sunday.

Players will learn how to use all of the features of the Darklight equipment to their advantage.

Any non-member completing the course will be given a free membership.
 

 MZ MORECAMBE MEMBERS NIGHTS 

Morecambe Megazone have started up their members nights on 

Friday and Saturday nights.

£6-95 for 7pm til 10pm (booking in from 6-30pm) and includes at least 5 games.

Game formats include such as sniper, bridge, rapid fire, vampire, elimination, etc

So why not become a member and join in the Fun!!!

 LQ TRAFFORD LEAGUE NIGHTS  

The league night we run is £7.50 to join, and then £10 for every league night you play in. It runs every first and third Tuesday every month. 

It lasts for two hours with a break in-between.

It starts at 8pm sharp, booking in at 7:45pm and runs til 9pm.

There is a half hour break then the second hour commences at 9:30pm finishing at roughly 10:30pm.

The First League night will start on Tuesday 16 January 2007
