Laser Arena was founded Monday 31 January 2000 after a group of friends were searching the internet for other types of laser tag outside the Derby area.
When they discovered there was hardly any information on the internet that would be of any use to them, the idea for laser arena was born.
They decided to form a web site that would be informative to the player and would hold information about all known types of laser tag in the United Kingdom.
They then made a list of all types of laser tag that they knew of and searched for those on the internet. They also searched telephone directories. Then they began to contact the main offices.
Once they had permission to contact the individual arena's they proceeded to do so by mail shot and telephone. As they receive information it is processed and put up on the site in the appropriate place, this is an ongoing task and they know it always will be.
The group has this year opted for a new motto.
'Aut inveniam viam aut faciam'
This means 'I will either find a way or I will make one'
We believe that this motto rings true as we could not find a way so we made our own.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT We aim to make and maintain a complete data base of all laser tag sites in the United Kingdom.
We also aim to visit one arena per month to photograph, film etc....
We hope to work with more site operators to give special discounts to the player.
We would like to attend special laser tag events wherever possible.
We will support new investors by supplying relevant information and helping them to choose the right type of lighting and sound equipment for their new arena.
Laser Arena will not be held responsible for any incorrect data within the site. All details are updated by the arena managers/owners themselves.
